Elanco Animal Health (NYSE: ELAN) outlined its three-year financial outlook at an investor day, projecting mid-single digit annual organic constant currency revenue growth, high single-digit adjusted EBITDA growth, and low double-digit adjusted earnings per share growth beginning in 2026.

The animal health company expects innovation revenue to reach approximately $1.1 billion in 2026, with plans to double revenue from six potential blockbuster products by 2028. Elanco projects more than $1 billion in free cash flow from 2026 through 2028 and aims to reduce its net leverage ratio to below 3x in 2027.

The company announced plans to close its German animal research facility and reduce manufacturing workforce as part of a restructuring program. This will result in approximately 600 role impacts, with 300 positions eliminated and 300 shifted to other areas or locations. The restructuring is expected to generate a charge of approximately $175 million, with about $130 million in cash-based costs.

Elanco expects savings of approximately $25 million in 2026 and $60 million in 2027 from these changes. The company projects its Elanco Ascend productivity program will deliver $200 million to $250 million in adjusted EBITDA savings by 2030.

The company plans to expand research and development operations at its Indianapolis headquarters while continuing investments in U.S. manufacturing facilities. Elanco will invest in its Kansas monoclonal antibody manufacturing facility to support innovation development.

For its Befrena product, a monoclonal antibody treatment for canine dermatitis, Elanco completed technical sections review and expects approval completion in the fourth quarter of 2025. The company has 10 major innovation projects in development with blockbuster potential, expecting approvals for five to six major assets between 2026 and 2031.

Elanco reaffirmed its fourth quarter and full-year 2025 revenue and adjusted earnings guidance, though reported net loss will be affected by restructuring charges.
