Cyngn projects Q1 2026 sales to exceed all of 2025

Cyngn Inc. (NASDAQ: CYN) announced that the company expects to sell more autonomous vehicle solutions in the first quarter of 2026 than it did in all of 2025, according to a statement from the company.

Marty Petratis, Cyngn's VP of Sales, said the projection is based on current bookings and pipeline activity. The Mountain View, California-based company develops autonomous vehicle technology for industrial organizations including manufacturers and logistics companies.

The company reported that it tripled the number of DriveMod Tuggers ordered in 2025 compared to the previous year. Total autonomous operating time across customer facilities increased more than 113% in the second half of 2025 as deployments expanded.

Cyngn's business model involves customers typically starting with pilot programs that automate single material transport routes within facilities. After demonstrating reliability and operational value, customers often expand autonomous operations to additional workflows, routes, and vehicles at the same location.

"Enterprise manufacturers require time to evaluate operational fit, establish internal budgets, and secure capital approvals," Petratis said. "What we are now seeing is the result of those processes completing across several major customers."

The company recently announced progress in its collaboration with NVIDIA through development of a simulation environment built on NVIDIA Isaac Sim. This technology enables faster validation of new autonomy capabilities and reduces the timeline from development to commercial deployment.

Cyngn's DriveMod technology is currently available on Motrec MT-160 Tuggers and BYD Forklifts. The DriveMod Tugger can haul up to 12,000 pounds and targets a payback period of less than two years.
