Cango produces 663.7 bitcoins in august, surpasses 5,000 total holdings

Cango Inc. (NYSE: CANG) reported producing 663.7 bitcoins in August 2025, an increase from 650.5 bitcoins produced in July 2025, according to the company's monthly mining operations update.

The company's total bitcoin holdings reached 5,193.4 bitcoins at the end of August, compared to 4,529.7 bitcoins at the end of July. The average daily bitcoin production increased to 21.41 bitcoins in August from 20.99 bitcoins in July.

Cango maintained its deployed hashrate at 50 EH/s for both months, while the average operating hashrate increased to 43.74 EH/s in August from 40.91 EH/s in July, representing a 6.9% month-over-month increase.

"We are pleased to share that we mined 663.7 Bitcoins this month, propelling our Bitcoin treasury past the 5,000 milestone," said Paul Yu, CEO and Director of Cango.

The company stated it holds bitcoin for long-term purposes and does not currently intend to sell any of its bitcoin holdings. Cango noted its 50 EH/s deployed capacity became fully operational in July.

The company reported recent acquisition of a 50 MW bitcoin mining facility in Georgia. Cango operates mining facilities across North America, the Middle East, South America, and East Africa.

Cango entered the cryptocurrency space in November 2024 and also operates an online international used car export business through AutoCango.com.
