CLE Announces Same-Store Sales, Guides In-Line For Q3

Claire's Stores (NYSE: CLE) eeported that for the four weeks ended August 27, 2005 comparable store sales rose 10% compared to last August, when comparable store sales rose 7%. CLE sees Q3 revenues between $311-317 million and earnings between $0.28-0.31 per diluted share. Analysts estimates for Q3 revenues are $313.51 million and earnings of $0.30.
