Chico's FAS, Inc. (NYSE: CHS) is 9.9% higher in early aciton after the company said April comparable store sales increased 15.5%. The company also said total sales for the first quarter ended April 30, 2005 increased 27.4% to $327 million, which is higher than the consensus of $322.51 million. The company also said they are comfortable with the current earnings per share estimates in the $0.25 range.
