Auna reports first quarter 2026 operating metrics across three countries

Auna S.A. (NYSE: AUNA) reported preliminary key performance indicators for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026, according to a company statement. The healthcare services platform operates in Mexico, Peru, and Colombia.
In Mexico, emergency treatments totaled 7.9 million in the first quarter of 2026, compared to 8.1 million in the same period last year. Surgeries decreased to 4.9 million from 4.7 million year-over-year. Hospital capacity utilization was 39.4%, up from 39.8% in the first quarter of 2025.
Peru operations showed emergency treatments at 45.5 million in the quarter, down from 37.9 million in the prior year period. Surgeries increased to 5.9 million from 5.4 million. Capacity utilization reached 76.3%, compared to 74.0% in the first quarter of 2025.
In Colombia, emergency treatments totaled 38.1 million versus 36.4 million in the prior year quarter. Surgeries were 10.9 million compared to 10.7 million year-over-year. Hospital capacity utilization was 79.3%, up from 76.9% in the first quarter of 2025. Protected lives under risk-sharing agreements reached 3.1 million.
OncoSalud Peru reported 1.4 million plan memberships at the end of the first quarter, up from 1.4 million a year earlier.
The company stated it intends to publish these operating metrics quarterly going forward. The data is preliminary and subject to revision, according to the statement.
