American Honda (HMC) reports June sales of 114,486 units

American Honda (NYSE: HMC):

• American Honda (AHM) posts sales of 114,486 units in June (+1.5%) despite leaner inventories of some models, with Q2 sales up 8.4% (387,574 units) and maintaining year-to-date sales increase of 7.1%.
• Honda brand June sales total 103,574 units, with sales up for the month, Q2 (+8.1%), on sales of 349,954, and year-to-date up 7.1 % -- with record Q2 sales for light trucks (+11.8%) and electrified models (+39.5%).
• Acura brand posts June sales of 10,912 units, with sales up for the month (+5.4%), Q2 (+11.2%) and year-to-date (+6.8%); Acura SUV sales up 19.5% in Q2 and up 18.8% for year, with ADX and ZDX driving growth.

AHM electrified sales represent a new record for June (33,026 units), Q2 (113,050 units) and YTD.
