The Allstate Corporation (NYSE: ALL) reported catastrophe losses of $619 million for June 2025, or $489 million after-tax, according to a company statement.
The June losses stemmed from 15 catastrophic events, with approximately 70% of the losses attributed to three wind and hail events. Total catastrophe losses for the second quarter of 2025 reached $1.99 billion, or $1.57 billion after-tax.
The company's total policies in force increased to 37.9 million as of June 30, 2025, compared to 37.88 million at the end of May 2025 and 37.68 million a year earlier.
Auto policies in force totaled 25.24 million, representing a 0.1% increase from the previous month and a 0.5% increase year-over-year. Homeowners policies reached 7.6 million, up 0.1% from May and 2.3% from June 2024.
Commercial lines policies decreased to 176,000 from 180,000 in May, marking a 2.2% monthly decline and a 31.3% decrease compared to June 2024.
Other personal lines policies remained relatively stable at 4.89 million, showing minimal change from the previous month and a 0.3% increase year-over-year.
