Alliance Fiber Optic Products, Inc. (Nasdaq: AFOP), is revising the forward guidance that was provided previously with the third quarter ended press release on October 25th 2011.
Revenues for the fourth quarter of 2011 are now expected to be below $11 million for the quarter based on existing customer orders and forecast currency. The Street is currently looking for revs of $11.54 million.
The reduction in outlook for the fourth quarter reflects lower order rates due to a greater than expected slowdown at Asian and European customers and worsening effects on the market due to the Thailand floods.
