Adaptive Biotechnologies reports 55% revenue growth in 2025

Adaptive Biotechnologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ADPT) reported preliminary unaudited results showing total revenue of approximately $277 million for 2025, representing a 55% increase compared to 2024, according to a company statement.

The biotechnology company's minimal residual disease (MRD) revenue reached approximately $212 million for the full year, up 46% from the prior year. Fourth quarter MRD revenue was approximately $62 million, marking a 54% increase year-over-year.

The company delivered approximately 105,600 clonoSEQ tests in 2025, representing a 39% increase from 2024. Fourth quarter test volume reached approximately 30,000 tests, up 43% compared to the same period in 2024.

Adaptive Biotechnologies reported cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities of approximately $227 million as of December 31, 2025, excluding Digital Biotechnologies cash holdings.

The company noted that these preliminary results have not been audited and remain subject to change as the company completes its year-end financial statement preparation and audit process. Final results may differ materially from these estimates.

"2025 was a pivotal year for Adaptive, marked by accelerating momentum across our MRD business driven by strong growth in clonoSEQ adoption," said Chad Robins, chief executive officer and co-founder.

Adaptive Biotechnologies plans to release complete fourth quarter and full year 2025 financial results during its earnings call scheduled for February 2026. The company expects its net loss to decrease for both the fourth quarter and full year 2025 compared to the corresponding periods in 2024.
