Acadia Healthcare Company Inc. (NASDAQ: ACHC) announced preliminary 2026 guidance indicating total capital expenditures will decline at least $300 million compared to 2025 guidance of $600 to $650 million.
The healthcare services company expects to add 500 to 700 beds in 2026, including beds currently under construction in 2025, according to a statement released in conjunction with management's scheduled participation in the Jefferies 2025 Healthcare Services Conference on September 29, 2025.
Acadia also reported same facility patient days growth of approximately 1.3% for the third quarter of 2025 to date. The company previously provided its 2025 capital expenditure guidance in a press release filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 5, 2025.
The preliminary 2026 capital expenditure guidance represents a reduction from the current year's spending plan, though the company did not specify the exact amount of expected 2026 capital expenditures beyond the minimum $300 million decrease.
