ADS-TEC Energy PLC (NASDAQ: ADSE) reported preliminary financial results showing revenue declined to €31.6 million in 2025 from €110 million in 2024, according to a press release statement. The German battery storage and fast-charging systems company attributed the decline to a key customer's insolvency and strategic business model changes.

The company recorded an operating loss of €56.7 million compared to a loss of €8.6 million in 2024. The larger loss included a €10.2 million inventory write-down related to raw materials and finished goods valuation adjustments.

Service revenues increased to €10.3 million from €5.6 million in the prior year. The company redeemed $27.9 million in senior secured convertible notes in November 2025 and maintained €7 million in cash at year-end.

ADS-TEC Energy expanded its customer base to more than 100 clients and secured over 150 locations for its Own & Operate business. The company has more than 330 service contracts in place with typical eight-year terms following a two-year warranty period.

The Commercial & Industrial business line built an order backlog of approximately €9 million with deliveries beginning in 2026. The company is developing a large-scale battery project in southern Germany with planned multi-GW capacity, expecting to reach ready-to-build status in 2026.

ADS-TEC Energy is evaluating financing options including a potential €125 million bond issuance or direct loan to support strategic initiatives. The company completed a full SAP implementation to support international scaling and improved operational control.
