Arista Networks strengthens enterprise networking portfolio with significant AI-driven acquisitions, new hardware innovations including Wi-Fi 7 access points, and enhanced zero-trust security solutions

Burghley Capital reports that Arista Networks is swiftly enhancing its enterprise networking capabilities through the strategic acquisition of VeloCloud SD-WAN from Broadcom, alongside the launch of advanced artificial intelligence-powered infrastructure solutions. These initiatives have already driven significant market confidence, resulting in a 23% share price increase during the most recent financial quarter.

Arista's expanded offerings address the rapidly growing AI data centre market, projected to reach USD 60.49 billion by 2030. This includes a new compact, fanless 12-port PoE switch within its 710 access switch series, capable of achieving throughput of up to 104Gbps while operating silently--ideal for acoustically sensitive environments such as retail stores and offices.

Additionally, Arista has released two advanced Wi-Fi 7 access points designed for distinct deployment needs. The rugged outdoor model, O-435, features a tri-radio configuration with dedicated security capabilities, suitable for industrial environments. The indoor model, C-400, targets small and medium-sized enterprises, supporting data rates up to 11.5Gbps and sophisticated IoT applications including Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL).

Security capabilities are further enhanced with Arista's CloudVision AGNI (Arista Guardian for Network Identity), now offering a fully on-premises deployment option tailored to compliance-heavy sectors like education and government. This ensures robust, scalable AI-driven access control without dependence on cloud services.

Arista has also expanded its identity-based microsegmentation solutions with the launch of new 1G and 10G virtual ZTX platforms for smaller campuses and remote branches. Integrated seamlessly with Multi-Domain Segmentation Services, these platforms enable detailed traffic control without the need for proprietary hardware.

Oak Grove School District's recent adoption of CloudVision AGNI demonstrates the solution's effectiveness, with Director of IT Najeeb Qasimi commenting, "CV AGNI revolutionised our network security management, providing robust protection without additional complexity or financial strain."
