White House: "more should be done" on rates
Investing.com -- President Donald Trump welcomed the Federal Reserve’s 25 basis point interest rate cut this week but believes additional reductions are necessary, according to White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt.
"I know there was a quarter point reduction this past week, and the president was pleased to see that, but he thinks more should be done," Leavitt told reporters on Thursday.
