DURECT Corporation (Nasdaq: DRRX) 29.5% HIGHER; Announced a $202 million collaboration agreement with Nycomed, a privately held European pharmaceutical company headquartered in Denmark, whereby the companies will jointly develop DURECT's POSIDUR post-operative pain relief depot. Nycomed will have exclusive commercialization rights in Europe and other select countries, and DURECT will retain full ownership of POSIDUR in the U.S., Canada, Asia and other countries.

SatCon Technology (Nasdaq: SATC) 19% HIGHER; Announced that it has been awarded a $2.7 million Stage 1 contract for an energy storage and delivery system capable of providing 8 megawatts of power for several seconds. When the total system is fully implemented the power levels will be in excess of 20 megawatts. Delivery of this first stage is scheduled for June 2007. Full value of all three proposed stages is $6.5 million. CEO says the company currently has a $32 million backlog.

Select Comfort (NASDAQ: SCSS) 17.3% LOWER; The company currently expects fourth quarter net sales growth and same-store sales growth to be below the low end of its long-term growth targets. Accordingly, the company is decreasing its full year earnings guidance to between $0.80 and $0.87 per diluted share. The consensus is $0.96

Digital Insight (Nasdaq: DGIN) 16% HIGHER; Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU) and Digital Insight Corp. have signed a definitive agreement for Intuit to acquire Digital Insight for $39 per share.

DSW Inc. (NYSE: DSW) 12.8% HIGHER; Reports Q3 EPS of $0.36, versus the consensus of $0.27. Revenues came in at $332.2 million versus the consensus of $333.14 million. Sees FY EPS of $1.35-$1.38 versus prior view of $1.24-$1.27 and the consensus of $1.27.

WR Grace & Co. (NYSE: GRA) 11% HIGHER; Stock seeing interest on heavier-than-normal volume, which could be related to asbestos.

Christopher & Banks (NYSE: CBK) 9.7% LOWER; Reported total sales of $44.3 million for the four-week period ended November 25, 2006, down modestly from $44.4 million last year. November same-store sales declined 8%.

Bebe Stores (Nasdaq: BEBE) 9.2% LOWER; Same-store sales for the four-week period ending November 25, 2006 increased 5.8%. CEO Greg Scott said, "The first three weeks of November were below our expectations, but this was offset by a very strong customer response to our week four and Black Friday offering."

Synopsys (Nasdaq: SNPS) 7.5% HIGHER; Reports Q4 EPS of $0.21, ex-items, 2 cents better than estimates. Revenues came in at $283.4 million versus the consensus of $279.8 million. Sees Q1 revenue of $292-$300 million versus the consensus of $278.7 million. Sees Q1 EPS of $0.26-$0.28 versus the consensus of $0.21. Sees FY revenues of $1.18-$1.21 billion versus the consensus of $1.19 billion. Sees FY EPS of $1.20-$1.28 versus the consensus of $1.08.

Pulte Homes (NYSE: PHM) 6.25% HIGHER; Banc of America upgraded the stock from Sell to Neutral.

Gerber Scientific (NYSE: GRB) 5.75% HIGHER; Reports Q2 EPS of $0.16, 2 cents better than estimates. Revenues were $145.0 million vs. $142.71 million consensus.
