BioVeris Corporation (Nasdaq: BIOV) 52% HIGHER; reached a definitive agreement under which Roche will acquire BioVeris for $21.50 per share in cash, or a total of approximately $600 million.

IDM Pharma, Inc. (Nasdaq: IDMI) 50% HIGHER; Announced Tuesday that the FDA scheduled an Oncologic Drugs Advisory Committee meeting on May 9, 2007 at which ODAC will discuss the Company's lead product candidate Junovan for use in the treatment of patients with newly diagnosed resectable high grade osteosarcoma following surgical resection in combination with multiple agent chemotherapy. IDMI was up 38% Tuesday.

Packeteer, Inc. (Nasdaq: PKTR) 29% LOWER; expects to report disappointing net revenues for the first quarter 2007. Current estimates indicate revenues of between $31 million and $33 million, which would reflect a sequential decrease of approximately 25% from the fourth quarter 2006. The Company had previously provided guidance for the first quarter of flat to slightly higher revenues compared with those reported in the fourth quarter 2006. The consensus is $43.1 million.

Contango Oil & Gas Company (AMEX: MCF) 28% HIGHER; announced a significant discovery at its Dutch prospect located offshore Gulf of Mexico at Eugene Island block 10.

pSivida Limited (NASDAQ: PSDV) 20% HIGHER; signed an exclusive worldwide Collaborative Research and License Agreement with Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) for pSivida's controlled drug delivery technologies, including the Medidur technology, in ophthalmic applications. Under the terms of the agreement, pSivida will receive up to $155 million in development and sales related milestones.

Icagen, Inc. (NASDAQ: ICGN) 20% LOWER; said following a planned meeting of the independent Data Monitoring Committee of the Company's ASSERT trial of senicapoc (formerly ICA-17043) for the treatment of sickle cell disease in adults, the DMC recommended that the trial be terminated because of the low probability of achieving a reduction in crisis rate, the primary endpoint.

Encysive Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: ENCY) 17% HIGHER; On Monday the company announced the launch of Thelin in Republic of Ireland.

Blyth Industries (NYSE: BTH) 15% HIGHER; Reports Q4 earnings of $1.00 per share versus the consensus of $0.60. Revenues were $379.8 million versus the consensus of $382.8 million. Sees FY08 EPS of $1.22-$1.27 versus the consensus of $1.25.

Greenbrier Companies (NYSE: GBX) 15% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.25, ex-items, versus the consensus of $0.54. Revenues came in at $240 million versus the consensus of $290.4 million. Company is withdrawing its previous earnings guidance for the year.

RedEnvelope, Inc. (Nasdaq: REDE) 15% LOWER; President and Chief Executive Officer, Ken Constable, has resigned.

Monster Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: MNST) 13% LOWER; said revenue for the first quarter ended March 31, 2007 is expected to be in the range of $328 to $329 million, or slightly below the revenue outlook of $330-$338 million provided on February 1, 2007. The consensus is $333.1 million.
