Origin Agritech Limited (Nasdaq: SEED) 17% HIGHER; For the six-months ended June 30, 2006, Origin reported net revenues of $65.3 million, compared to net revenues of $25.2 million for the same period in 2005. Net income for the six months ended June 30, 2006 was $13.5 million, or $0.57 per diluted share on approximately 23.9 million shares outstanding, an increase of 160.9% from $5.2 million, or $0.52 per diluted share on a weighted average basis on approximately 10.0 million shares outstanding, for the same period in 2005.
Wireless Facilities Inc. (Nasdaq: WFII) 13% HIGHER; announced today that its Government Services Division has been awarded a $35.8 Million contract with the United States Army Aviation and Missile Command.
Silicon Motion Technology Corp. (Nasdaq: SIMO) 12% HIGHER; Positive comments at WR Hambrecht. Says, "Our channel checks indicate that the quarter is tracking ahead of our expectations due to the strength of MicroSD flash memory cards."
SORL Auto Parts Inc. (Nasdaq: SORL) 8.3% LOWER; priced its follow-on offering of 4,285,714 shares at $7.25 per share. Net proceeds after underwriters' commissions and non-accountable will be approximately $28.352 million.
