Optium Corporation (Nasdaq: OPTM) 25% LOWER; expects revenue for its fourth fiscal 2007 quarter ended July 28 to be in the range of approximately $26.0 million to $26.5 million. In addition, Optium expects to generate a net loss for the quarter. The consensus is $36.88 million and a profit of $0.10 a share, respectively.
DXP Enterprises (Nasdaq: DXPE) 16% LOWER; Reports Q2 EPS of $0.56, versus the consensus of $0.66. Sales rose to $85.3 million versus the consensus of $83.94 million.
Intevac (NASDAQ: IVAC) 13% LOWER; reported Q2 earnings of $0.52 per share, cents better than estimates. ($0.38) Revenues came in at $72.1 million versus the consensus of $73.1 million.
Sun Microsystems (NASDAQ: SUNW) 10% HIGHER; reported Q4 earnings of $0.09 per share, versus estimates of $0.05. Revenues came in at $3.835 billion versus the consensus of $3.8 billion.
CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. (NYSE: CBG) 8% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.66 (Excluding one-time charges) vs. consensus of $0.41. Revenues were Excluding one-time charges $1.5 billion vs. $1.35 billion consensus.
OSI Pharm (NASDAQ: OSIP) 5% HIGHER; reported Q2 earnings of $0.42 per share, which may not compare to the consensus of $0.29. Revenues came in at $78.9 million versus the consensus of $79.3 million.
Glaxosmithkline plc (NYSE: GSK) 5% HIGHER; FDA panel said Avandia increases heart attack risk, but should remain on the market.
Powerwave (NASDAQ: PWAV) 4% HIGHER; reported Q2 loss of $0.16 (ex-items), in-line with estimates. (loss of $0.16) Revenues came in at $185.6 million versus the consensus of $174.9 million.
Texas Roadhouse (NASDAQ: TXRH) 4% LOWER; reported Q2 earnings of $0.15 per share, ex-items, 2 cents better than estimates. ($0.13) Revenues came in at $181 million versus the consensus of $182.7 million.
