Coldwater Creek (Nasdaq: CWTR) 21% LOWER; said Q4 EPS are expected to be in the range of $0.16 to $0.17. The company's previous guidance, provided on Nov. 21, 2006, had been for earnings per share in the range of $0.26 to $0.27 and the consensus is $0.28.
JDS Uniphase Corp. (Nasdaq: JDSU) 11.8% HIGHER; sees Q2 revenues of $360-$365 million above prior view of $332-$352 million and the consensus of $341.98 million.
Bookham Inc. (Nasdaq: BKHM) 6% HIGHER; raised guidance from JDSU
IBM (NYSE: IBM) 5% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $2.26 (including 6c tax benefit) vs. consensus of $2.19. Revenues were $26.26 billion vs. $25.67 billion consensus.
Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) 4% LOWER; said it incurred additional costs related to its Bell Helicopter H-1 program during the fourth quarter of 2006. However, stronger financial performance at Cessna, Textron Systems and Textron Financial, plus a lower tax rate, more than offset the additional H-1 costs booked in the quarter. This will result in reported fourth quarter earnings per share from continuing operations in excess of the company's previous guidance range of $1.35 - $1.45 (the consensus is $1.46).
Finisar Corp. (Nasdaq: FNSR) 3% HIGHER; raised guidance from JDSU
Hoku Scientific, Inc. (Nasdaq: HOKU) 3% HIGHER; continued momentum after today's 122% move on news of a $370M contract with Sanyo
Cree (Nasdaq: CREE) 2% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.06 (ex-items), in-line with estimates.(0.06) Revenues were $89 million vs. $91.29 million consensus.
Xilinx Inc. (Nasdaq: XLNX) 2% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.26, 3 cents better than estimates. Revenues came in at $450.7 million versus the consensus of $451.17 million. Sees Q4 revenues unchanged to down 5% versus Q3, which would be below the consensus of $472 million.
