Microtek Medical Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: MTMD) 25.6% HIGHER:Ecolab Inc. (NYSE: ECL) has agreed to purchase Microtek Medical Holdings for $6.30 per share in cash.

Perini Corp. (NYSE: PCR) 15% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $1.01, versus the consensus of $0.61. Revenues came in at $1.15 billion versus the consensus of $1.01 billion. Sees 2007 EPS of $2.80-$3.00 versus the consensus of $2.66. Sees 2007 revs of $4.1-$4.3 billion versus the consensus of $4.08 billion.

Cisco Systems (NASDAQ: CSCO) 5.7% HIGHER; reported Q4 earnings of $0.35 per share, 1 cent better than estimates. ($0.35) Revenues came in at $9.4 billion versus the consensus of $9.3 billion. Increases long term sales forecast to 12%-17%. Forecasts 2008 sales growth of 13%-16%.
