Second-Round of PPP Loan Program to Launch on Monday - Rubio
The second-round of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) will relaunch to small businesses on Monday, according to Senator Marco Rubio.
The program will include an additional $310 billion for small businesses, in addition to the money from loans being returned by several publicly traded large companies, Rubio stated.
The first $349 billion round was drained in just two weeks and left many small businesses without funding. The program also drew outrage as several large publicly traded companies, including Shake Shack and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, received tens of millions in loans from the program before promising to return them.
