Papandreou Steps Down; Papademos May Be Named Successor
Despite winning a confidence vote late Friday, Greece's George Papandreou announced Sunday he would be stepping down from his position as the country's Prime Minister.
Papandreou and Antonis Samaras, leader of the "New Democracy," are set to announce who will head the new government sometime Monday.
Rumors suggest former ECB VP Lucas Papademos could be the most likely to lead the government, at least on an interim basis.
