Papademos Named Interim Head of Greece

Reports out of Athens Thursday indicate, as previously rumored, former ECB VP Lucas Papademos will now head the Greek government on an interim basis. Papademos has been given a mandate to form the government.
Futures trading in US stocks is showing a strong bounce following Wednesday's nearly 400 point decline in the Dow. More than an hour ahead of the opening bell, the Dow is indicated about 121 points higher, the Nasdaq is up 28, and the S&P 500 is up about 16 points.
