President Obama plans to make a big splash with his first major policy move since getting re-elected. The president is expect to propose a plan to lawmakers that would immediately freeze tax rates for the middle class and urge Congress to resolve the "fiscal cliff."
President Obama has a statement scheduled for 1PM ET Friday from the White House, his first since being re-elected Tuesday.
Obama will demand that Congress immediately extend the Bush tax cuts for families earning less than $250,000.
