Jones Lang LaSalle stock dips after leadership restructuring

Investing.com -- Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (NYSE: JLL) shares fell 2% Wednesday following the announcement of a leadership restructuring that includes the creation of a new U.S. country CEO position.

The commercial real estate services firm named Mark Gibson to the newly created role of Country CEO, U.S., effective immediately. Gibson currently serves as CEO of Capital Markets Americas, a position he will maintain through the end of 2026 before fully transitioning to the new role.

The appointment is part of JLL's Accelerate 2030 strategy, specifically supporting its "Deepen Client Relationships" imperative. Gibson will lead a U.S. Executive Committee focused on coordinating the firm's various business lines to serve clients.

Kevin MacKenzie, currently President of Capital Markets Americas, will succeed Gibson as CEO Capital Markets, Americas effective January 1, 2027. MacKenzie has been with the company since 2004 and became President of Capital Markets Americas on January 1, 2025.

The new country CEO structure follows a model JLL already uses in other major geographies. The company said the role addresses client demand for fewer, more strategic partners that can advise across entire real estate portfolios.

Gibson led HFF, Inc. as CEO until JLL acquired the company in 2019. He has served as CEO of Capital Markets Americas for seven years.

JLL reported annual revenue of $26.1 billion and employs more than 112,000 people across operations in over 80 countries as of June 30, 2026.
