John Paulson Donates $100M to New York's Central Park Conservancy

Hedge fund titan John Paulson and his Paulson Family Foundation pledge $100 million to the Central Park Conservancy Tuesday.
"It's simply impossible to imagine what New york would be without Central Park," Paulson said.
Mr. Paulson is best known for making an estimated $3-$4 billion for himself in the US housing crash. His performance of late has been lackluster. Paulson's Advantage Plus fund was off 18 percent, while his Advantage fund was down 13 percent as of August. However, both of the metrics are better than declines in 2011 of over 50 percent and 36 percent, respectively.
