(Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Trade Commission on Wednesday reversed one of its lawyer's statements in court that it needed to delay the trial in its consumer protection case against Amazon.com, after earlier citing "severe resource shortfalls" caused by cost cutting measures.
The agency said it can meet the schedule set by the court.
