Amid a '60 Minutes' segment on Michael Lewis' new book on high frequency trading (HFT) Sunday evening, the Wall Street Journal is reporting this afternoon that the FBI is actively investigating the practice.
The FBI is said to be working with the SEC, CFTC and is specifically looking at whether the firm's trade on nonpublic information.
