Eric Holder To Step Down As Attorney General

Eric Holder is expected to step down as U.S. attorney general, according to various media reports Thursday. The announcement is expected as soon as today.
Holder is expected to remain in office until a successor is found and confirmed, which could run through 2014 or into 2015.
Holder, the first black U.S. attorney general, is one of longest serving members of President Obama's cabinet. He is also the fourth longest serving attorney general's in history.
