Disney cuts jobs across multiple teams, Variety reports

Investing.com -- Disney (NYSE: DIS) is reportedly doing yet another round of job cuts, laying off several hundred employees worldwide across various teams. As reported by Variety. the layoffs were conducted on Monday, affecting teams in diverse areas such as Disney’s marketing for both film and TV, publicity, casting and development, and corporate financial operations.

Disney’s intent behind these layoffs is to enhance its operational efficiency. Importantly, no teams are being eliminated in the process of these job cuts. The layoffs were initially reported by Deadline.
