Deal Reached To Help Greece
Following a meeting, European Union President Herman Van Rompuy said a deal has been reached to help Greece with its massive debt problems, although details have not been released yet.
Details are expected after all 27 members of the EU nations meet.
Van Rompuy said "we have an agreement," following the meeting with Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou, French President Nicolas Sarkozy and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
German Chancellor Merkel said, "Greece won't be left alone but there are rules and these rules must be adhered to. On this basis we will agree on a statement," according to Bloomberg News.
The credit concerns in Greece have been roiling markets, and is considered by some to be the tip of the iceberg.
