Collapse reported at East Village, NY, building, according to market reports.
The collapse was reported at around 3:20 p.m. at 7th Street and Second Avenue Thursday afternoon, according to CBS local. Market chatter has a possible gas leak as cause of the explosion, though those rumors are unconfirmed by officials.
(NOTE: Twitter (NYSE: TWTR) may see some activity following introduction of its new Periscope live mobile streaming platform. Of course, Facebook (Nasdaq FB) will also be utilized by some.)
