Claude Code adds shareable work progress pages

Investing.com -- Anthropic launched a new feature for Claude Code on Thursday that allows users to convert their work sessions into shareable web pages called artifacts.

The feature enables Claude Code to create live visual pages from work sessions, including pull request walkthroughs, system explainers, dashboards, and release checklists that update automatically as work progresses.

Claude Code sessions can involve tasks ranging from incident investigation to service refactoring to data analysis. The artifacts feature translates this work into web pages that any team member can access and explore.

The pages are built using the complete context from a user's session, including the codebase, connectors, and conversation history. A single incident page can combine a failing test, the related function from the code, error data from monitoring tools, and root-cause analysis from the session.

Artifacts update in real time when Claude Code makes changes, with teammates seeing updates immediately upon publication. Each publication creates a new version at the same link, with version history allowing users to restore previous versions. A gallery feature lets users browse and manage all created artifacts.

All artifacts remain private to their author by default. Users can share pages with teammates and their organization directly from the page. Artifacts are viewable only by authenticated organization members and cannot be made public. Administrators can manage access through an organization-level toggle and role-based scoping, set retention policies, and monitor usage through a compliance API.

The feature is available in beta to Claude Team and Enterprise organizations through the Claude Code CLI and desktop app, with pages viewable in any browser.
