Beyond Meat Suspends COO Ramsey Following Arrest

Beyond Meat (NASDAQ: BYND) issued a statement today, according to which the company’s COO Doug Ramsey has been suspended effective immediately.

On September 17, Ramsey was arrested on a pair of charges after reportedly biting a man’s nose in a parking garage near Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville following Arkansas’ victory over Missouri State. He was booked into the Washington County jail and has an appearance in Fayetteville District Court scheduled for October 19.

Operations activities will be overseen on an interim basis by Jonathan Nelson, the company’s Senior Vice President, Manufacturing Operations.
