Barclays (BCS) Fat Finger Triggered Tuesday's Swings

Wild trading action in some stocks Tuesday was caused by a fat finger trade at Barclays (NYSE: BCS), according to a report from Bloomberg, citing sources. The error caused split second swings in at least 28 stocks, resulting in busted trades in AOL (NYSE: AOL).
Wild swings were seen in Nabors Industries Ltd. (NYSE: NBR) Marathon Petroleum (NYSE: MPC), Lorillard (NYSE: LO), Canadian Natural Resources Ltd (NYSE: CNQ) Nasdaq (Nasdaq: NDAQ), and others.
Barclays clients were not impacted by the error.
