Atlanta Fed trims U.S. second-quarter GDP growth view to 1.2%
NEW YORK (Reuters) - The U.S. economy is growing at a 1.2% annualized rate in the second quarter, as this week's data that suggested a drop in equipment investment overshadowed figures that showed a rise in personal spending, the Atlanta Federal Reserve's GDPNow forecast model showed on Friday.
This was a tad slower than the 1.3% pace estimated by Atlanta Fed's GDP program on May 24.
