Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) new low-cost iPhone will be produced primarily by a Taiwanese company called Pegatron Corp, according to reports in WSJ, citing sources. The change shifts Apple's supply chain away from Foxconn, a move that is likely an effort to diversify after glitches last year. Pegatron may also be charging less. In the past Foxconn was the subject of controversy due to its labor practices.
