Fed's Harker does not comment on outlook for economy, policy
(Reuters) - U.S. policymakers should consider allowing private investors to fund more social welfare projects where their return is tied to results and savings for taxpayers, Philadelphia Federal Reserve President Patrick Harker said on Wednesday.
In prepared remarks to be delivered in Philadelphia, Harker did not comment on the outlook for the U.S. economy and monetary policy.
