Bitcoin is again the talk of Wall Street Thursday. This time, not because of wild price swings, a major exchange bankruptcy, or an unexpected theft. No, today the focus is on Bitcoin creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, who many thought was just a pseudonym. A Newsweek investigative piece reveals that Satoshi Nakamoto is real - a 64-year old Japanese-American living a modest and reclusive life in Temple City, California.

Said to own an estimated $400 million in Bitcoin, Nakamoto refused to discuss the virtual currency with writer Leah McGrath Goodman and actually called the police when McGrath visited his house. Nakamoto, however, briefly acknowledged his role in Bitcoin saying: "I am no longer involved in that and I cannot discuss it... It's been turned over to other people. They are in charge of it now. I no longer have any connection."

Nakamoto's youngest brother, Arthur Nakamoto, shed more light on the Bitcoin creator. He said: "You want to know about my amazing physicist brother? He's a brilliant man. I'm just a humble engineer. He's very focused and eclectic in his way of thinking. Smart, intelligent, mathematics, engineering, computers. You name it, he can do it." Arthur also discussed his brother's other side: "My brother is an asshole. What you don't know about him is that he's worked on classified stuff. His life was a complete blank for a while. You're not going to be able to get to him. He'll deny everything. He'll never admit to starting Bitcoin."
