Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: REGN) announced it will present 36 abstracts at the 2026 American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Annual Meeting from February 27 to March 2 in Philadelphia. The presentations include first-time Phase 3 data for two investigational allergen-blocking antibody treatments targeting cat and birch allergies.
The Phase 3 trials evaluated antibody cocktails designed to target FelD1 for cat allergy and BetV1 for birch allergy. Both studies assessed the treatments' ability to reduce ocular allergic symptoms including itching and redness compared to placebo in conjunctival allergen challenge trials.
Regeneron plans to initiate additional registration-enabling trials for both programs later this year. The company describes these treatments as potentially first-in-class approaches to addressing allergic diseases.
The presentations also include new data on Dupixent (dupilumab), developed in collaboration with Sanofi, across multiple conditions including atopic dermatitis, asthma, and chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps. Specific analyses will examine the drug's impact on allergy sensitization in children with atopic dermatitis and its positioning in asthma treatment protocols.
Additionally, late-breaking data from the Phase 3 AIMS trial evaluating Dupixent for allergic fungal rhinosinusitis will be presented. This data supports a supplemental Biologics License Application currently under Priority Review by the FDA, with a target action date of February 28, 2026.
The safety and efficacy of the investigational cat and birch allergy treatments have not been evaluated by regulatory authorities. The investigational medicines are part of Regeneron's broader allergy pipeline aimed at addressing IgE-mediated allergies.
