Amarin (Nasdaq: AMRN) shares are higher on the session as traders anticipate an NCE decision on Vascepa sometime today, though nothing is in stone.
Shares are 24 percent lower from the close on December 6th, with Amarin issuing an update on its plans for Vascepa, covering both MARINE and ANCHOR studies. Many were disappointed that there were mo partnerships or an acquisition announced.
Analysts have been mixed into the decision, some calling Amarin still risky, while others are a little more dovish.
Shares are 1.9 percent higher, having moved back into positive territory just ahead of noon Friday.
