WestKam Gold increases private placement to $500,000
WestKam Gold Corp. (TSXV: WKG) announced it has increased its non-brokered private placement offering to $500,000 from the previously announced $300,000, citing overwhelming investor interest.
The company plans to sell up to 7,142,857 units at $0.07 per unit. Each unit consists of one common share and one warrant exercisable at $0.10 for three years from issuance.
WestKam will use proceeds to pay outstanding trade payables, legal fees, audit fees, transfer agent fees and general working capital. The company may pay finder's fees to eligible parties as permitted under securities laws and TSX Venture Exchange policies.
All securities will be subject to a four-month-and-one-day hold period from issuance date. The offering requires regulatory approvals, including TSX Venture Exchange approval.
WestKam Gold focuses on acquiring and developing mineral properties in Western Canada. The Vancouver-based company seeks projects in established mining districts with geology that could host significant resources.
