Volt Carbon Technologies completes $210,000 private placement

Volt Carbon Technologies Inc. (TSXV: VCT) (OTCQB: TORVF) completed a non-brokered private placement raising $210,000 through the issuance of 10.5 million units at $0.02 per unit, according to a company statement.



Each unit consists of one common share and one warrant. The warrants allow holders to purchase additional common shares at $0.05 per share for 24 months from the date of issuance. The securities are subject to a four-month-plus-one-day hold period under applicable securities laws.



The final closing requires regulatory approvals including from the TSX Venture Exchange. No company insiders participated in the offering and no new control persons were created.



The company stated it intends to use the proceeds to advance its battery and mineral separation technologies, pay outstanding payables, and for general working capital purposes.



Volt Carbon describes itself as a publicly traded carbon science company focused on energy storage and green energy creation, with mining claims in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia.
