Volt Carbon Technologies closes oversubscribed private placement for C$197,050
Volt Carbon Technologies Inc. (TSXV: VCT) (OTCQB: TORVF) completed its oversubscribed non-brokered private placement financing, issuing 5,630,000 units at C$0.035 per unit for gross proceeds of C$197,050.
Each unit consists of one common share and one warrant. The warrants allow holders to purchase additional common shares at C$0.05 per share for 24 months from the issuance date.
The securities are subject to a four-month and one-day statutory hold period under applicable securities laws. The company paid no finder's fees, commissions or other compensation related to the offering.
Volt Carbon plans to use the proceeds for intellectual property development initiatives, advancing battery and mobile mineral separation technologies, and general working capital purposes.
The closing requires final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange. The Calgary-based company operates as a carbon science company focused on energy storage and green energy creation, with mining claims in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia.
