Volt Carbon Technologies closes first tranche of private placement
Volt Carbon Technologies Inc. (TSXV: VCT) (OTCQB: TORVF) closed the first tranche of its private placement by issuing 5 million units at $0.02 per unit for gross proceeds of $100,000.
Each unit consists of one common share and one warrant. The warrants allow holders to purchase additional common shares at $0.05 per share within 24 months of issuance. All securities from the first tranche are subject to a four-month and one-day hold period.
The company paid no finder's fees for the first tranche closing. Volt Carbon expects to close the second tranche of the offering on or before September 10, 2025, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
The Calgary-based company describes itself as a carbon science company focused on energy storage and green energy creation. Volt Carbon holds mining claims in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia.
