Seelos Therapeutics (SEEL) Announces Proposed Public Offering of Common Stock

Seelos Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: SEEL), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of therapies for central nervous system (CNS) disorders and rare diseases, announced today that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of shares of common stock. The offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed or as to the actual size or terms of the offering. In addition, the Company intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the aggregate number of shares of common stock sold in the offering on the same terms and conditions. All of the shares of common stock in the offering will be sold by Seelos.
Guggenheim Securities is acting as book-running manager for the proposed offering.
Seelos intends to use a portion of the net proceeds from the offering for the repayment of certain outstanding convertible promissory notes and the remainder for general corporate purposes and to advance the development of its product candidates.
