Regency Silver closes oversubscribed $4 million private placement
Regency Silver Corp. (TSXV: RSMX) (OTCQB: RSMXF) completed its private placement offering, selling 40 million units at $0.10 per unit for gross proceeds of $4 million. The offering included the full exercise of an over-allotment option and was led by Centurion One Capital Corp.
Each unit consists of one common share and one-half warrant. The warrants allow holders to purchase additional common shares at $0.20 per share until August 29, 2027.
The company will use proceeds for drilling at its Dios Padre Project in Sonora, Mexico, and general working capital. Regency Silver paid $320,000 in commissions and issued 3.2 million broker warrants in connection with the offering.
"This new capital will allow us to continue with our drilling in order to add shareholder value by advancing our understanding of the scale of the mineralization at Dios Padre," said Bruce Bragagnolo, Executive Chairman and CEO.
Company insiders purchased 3.62 million units on the same terms as other investors. The securities are subject to a statutory hold period ending December 30, 2025.
Regency Silver is scheduled to begin drilling by the third week of September, continuing work along strike from its previous drill hole REG-23-21, which returned 38 meters of 7.36 grams per ton gold.
The Vancouver-based company explores for gold, copper and silver in Mexico, with its flagship Dios Padre project representing what management describes as a large magmatic-hydrothermal system.
