Regency Silver closes $4.25 million private placement financing
Regency Silver Corp. (TSXV: RSMX) (OTCQB: RSMXF) (FSE: ZJ90) completed a non-brokered private placement raising $4,247,500, according to a company statement.
The Vancouver-based mining company issued 16,990,000 units at $0.25 per unit. Each unit includes one common share and one-half of a share purchase warrant. The warrants allow holders to buy additional shares at $0.35 each within two years of issuance.
Bruce Bragagnolo, chief executive officer, stated the financing received support from long-term shareholders and U.S. institutional investors. Centurion One Capital Corp. served as special advisor for the placement, receiving $141,000 in advisory and finder fees.
The securities carry a four-month hold period under Canadian securities laws. Regency Silver plans to use proceeds for exploration and development of company properties, potential acquisitions, and general working capital. The transaction requires final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.
Regency Silver focuses on exploring for gold, copper, and silver deposits in Mexico. The company's primary asset is the Dios Padre project in Sonora, Mexico, where it has identified gold-copper-silver mineralization.
