Quebec Nickel announces $1 million private placement at $0.25 per unit
Quebec Nickel Corp. (CSE: QNI) announced a non-brokered private placement to raise up to $1 million through the sale of units priced at $0.25 each.
Each unit consists of one common share and one warrant. The warrants allow holders to purchase additional common shares at $0.40 each within two years of issuance.
The company plans to use proceeds for exploration and development activities on projects and general working capital purposes.
The offering includes participation by existing shareholders under British Columbia Instrument 45-534, which exempts certain trades from prospectus requirements. Only shareholders who held shares as of March 3, 2026 are eligible to participate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Existing shareholders face restrictions including a $15,000 purchase limit within any 12-month period unless they receive suitability advice from a registered investment dealer. Participants must purchase units for their own account and remain current shareholders.
The offering requires approval from the Canadian Securities Exchange and other regulatory bodies. Securities issued will be subject to a four-month and one-day hold period under applicable securities laws.
Quebec Nickel may pay finders' fees in connection with the offering in accordance with securities laws and exchange policies.
The mineral exploration company focuses on acquiring and developing critical metals projects including gold, nickel, copper, cobalt and platinum group elements in North America.
