QR Energy (QRE) Commences 6.2M Common Offering

QR Energy, LP, a Delaware limited partnership (NYSE: QRE), announced today that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of 6,202,263 common units representing limited partner interests in QRE (the "common units") pursuant to a registration statement on Form S-1 previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "Commission"). Additionally, QR Energy's sponsor, Quantum Resources Funds, is offering 11,297,737 common units in the offering. The underwriters will be granted a 30-day over-allotment option to purchase up to an additional 2,625,000 common units.
